By the shores of Lake Atitlán in Sololá, Guatemala, we gathered with women with disabilities to create a space for conversations that are too often silenced.

Together, we held a series of intimate dialogues around sexuality, facilitated by an expert sexologist and centred on pleasure, joy, desire, and the right to speak openly about our bodies and experiences. We wanted to create a space where participants felt safe enough to share, reflect, laugh, and imagine.

​

The stories and conversations born there continue their journey and are now being transformed into a podcast series that will carry these reflections beyond the lake, opening conversations with women with disabilities across different places and communities. We accompanied the conceptualisation of the dialogues, supported coordination and logistics, and held the space through facilitation and collective care.

Organisations, like people, move through seasons.

We accompanied Mujeres con Capacidad de Soñar a Colores, an organisation of women with disabilities in Sololá, Guatemala, as they reflected on where they had been and imagined where they wanted to go next.

​

Through conversations, participatory workshops, and collective reflection, we revisited earlier journeys, explored dreams and priorities, and co-created a renewed strategic path for the years ahead. Together we refined their vision, strengthened their objectives, and supported the emergence of a new strategy rooted in experience and possibility.

We believe that stories can move people in ways that reports often cannot.

Across Latin America and Africa, we have co-designed and facilitated arts-based advocacy workshops that create space to explore themes of sexual justice, displacement, identity, and lived experience.

​

Through drawing, storytelling, sound, movement, and collective creation, participants explore issues that can sometimes feel difficult to name. These conversations then travel beyond the workshop itself, taking shape through exhibitions and public spaces where communities can engage with the stories being shared. We used art as a language and an invitation, creating new ways to advocate, connect, and imagine change.

Leadership is not something we hand over; it is something we nurture.

We have accompanied young leaders, particularly young women and queer people, through programmes designed around their realities, aspirations, and needs.

​

Together we have created spaces where people strengthen facilitation skills, map their leadership journeys, test ideas, and build communities of support. Through mentorship, experiential learning, peer exchange, and collective reflection, we have accompanied the development of young leaders’ confidence needed to navigate complexity and create meaningful change.

Some of the most important knowledge in any programme never makes it into a report. It lives in the relationships formed across borders, in the moments of unexpected solidarity, in what people learned about themselves and each other along the way. Linking and Learning Journeys are how surface that embodied knowledge.

We have designed and facilitated collaborative learning processes that gather partners, rightsholders and teams across geographies to reflect on what has been built, name what has been hard, and collectively imagine what comes next. Drawing on creativity, storytelling, trauma-informed practice and art-based methodologies, we have created environments that honour the full texture of collective programme implementation.

Through dialogue, memory objects, solo reflection, ritual and collective sense-making, participants with shared understanding and a deepened sense of connection to each other and to the work itself.

We have held these spaces across movements, and continents, bringing together young women rightsholders, civil society partners and global teams to learn together. We know that when people experience first-hand what their partners are doing, see each other's contexts, and sit together long enough to ask real questions, the learning that emerges cannot be replicated by any survey or evaluation tool. These journeys can mark the close of a programme, animate a mid-term reflection, or simply create the pause that a partnership needs to find its next step during inception or before closing. 

Advocacy is rarely a straight path.

It moves through relationships, communities, institutions, and moments of courage. We have accompanied grassroot organisations, networks, and young leaders as they design and strengthen advocacy journeys across local, regional, and global spaces.

​

From strategy development and campaign design to preparing for conferences and decision-making spaces, we have supported people to move with greater confidence and clarity. Focusing on youth leadership and rightsholder-led approaches, we have created participatory spaces where diverse voices can strengthen their skills, build connections, and influence the conversations that shape their lives.
